In 2010, Sage Fruit Company implemented the Kids in Force program. Through this program, we encourage children to make better lifestyle decisions by educating them on the importance of both nutrition and physical activity.
Nutrition
Diet plays a key role in an individual’s health, performance, and well-being. Healthy snack options should be easy and accessible. Fruit is an excellent alternative to the usual on-the-go junk food; it’s one of the original fast foods!

Physical Activity – Get Out and Play!
The Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) emphasize the need to initiate high levels of activity in young children. They recommend at least 60 minutes and up to several hours of physical activity per day on all, or most days of the week for school-age children. The daily accumulation should include moderate and vigorous physical activity. It is also recommended that they avoid prolong periods of inactivity.
Sage Fruit Kids Program
The outline of the Kids in Force program is simple – Eat healthy, get daily activity and log your choices on your official Kids in Force tracker. We’ve assigned a point value to both the nutrition and physical components of choosing a healthy lifestyle. The more positive decisions you make, the more points you earn! Once your points add up, you can redeem them for prizes.
You can download your official Kids in Force program form here. If you are not an adult, make sure to get your parents permission first before going online.
Fill out the required contact information and begin logging your activities and food choices today! Once you reach your desired points and prize level, simply mail the form to the address provided on the bottom of the form.
Points do not accumulate from forms previously sent in. Be sure to save your points until you reach the prize level you want. Once you send in your form, you can start over again and redeem a different prize!
