It’s officially Crock Pot season!
If you have a Slow-Cooker/Crock Pot, you know how amazing it is. It makes life so easy, right? Throw some ingredients in before work, and 8 hours later you have dinner for the whole family! Not to mention, the recipes are pretty much foolproof; in all likelihood, you won’t screw them up. Easy to clean when you’re done too… hey, you only used 1 “pan!”
Well, we know they’re perfect for soups, roasts, chicken, ect… dinner and lunch dishes.. but have you ever thought of using it for dessert? Your house is guaranteed to smell great and your guests are sure to be impressed.

Slow Cooker Apple Crisp
From: Gimme Some Oven
PREP TIME: 15 MINS COOK TIME: 3 HOURS
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 apples, peeled, cored and thinly-sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- cinnamon crumble (see below)
- optional serving suggestions: vanilla ice cream, warm caramel sauce
CINNAMON OAT CRUMBLE:
- 1 cup (uncooked) old-fashioned oats
- 2/3 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 4 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
Apple Dump Cake

INGREDIENTS:
- 5-7 Granny Smith Apples
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup oats (quick cook or old-fashioned)
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, sliced
Slow-Cooker Bloomin Baked Apples

- 2 medium honey crisp apples
- 3 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ice cream, caramel sauce, to garnish (optional)
